Legacy Outdoor Power Equipment

I am writing this review because I am deeply unhappy and frustrated with the service I received at Legacy Outdoor Power Equipment. My entire encounter with this shop was substandard and unprofessional, leaving me with a very poor impression of their business practices. Given the issues I faced throughout the process, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others who are looking for reliable service or equipment, and I would advise potential customers to look elsewhere for their outdoor power needs.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Legacy Outdoor Power Equipment. I felt pushed to pay extra for expedited service, even though it was clear they were capable of addressing my needs immediately without the additional fee. This experience felt unprofessional and left me feeling like a captive customer rather than a valued one.

I had some needed repairs on a Honda generator and the service folks addressed the issues and made repairs in a timely and cost efficient manner. Thank you, ready for our next ice storm…..

Great people in the service department who do great work, great people in sales & parts who are very knowledgeable. Wholeheartedly recommend for anyone needing equipment, parts or service.

One Star - Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I’ve been a loyal customer of Legacy for years—bought multiple mowers from them and had my mower serviced here annually. I’ve sent countless people their way because they used to be a company I trusted. Unfortunately, this year’s experience has been so poor that I won’t be returning, and I can no longer recommend them. What used to be a reliable, timely service turned into a frustrating 8-week ordeal—double the 4-week timeline I was originally quoted. Not only that, they scheduled delivery multiple times and failed to follow through, offering excuses rather than solutions. To top it off, when my mower finally came back, it was filthy—covered in bird droppings and leftover grass from last season. They used to clean the mowers as part of their service, but this year, not even a rinse. When I called to ask why, they simply said it was because my service was “later than usual.” Sure, it was a little later, but they never mentioned that it would mean lower standards or skipped steps. They did waive the delivery fee, which I appreciated, but honestly, it’s not enough to make up for the lack of communication, delays, and poor co
